What's Wrong With Thanks Giving?

I go to the same Starbucks just about every day, including Sundays. Occasionally I head down to Kirkland or Seattle to mix it up, keep the body guessing. But for the most part I have my spot. I get the "Cheers" feeling when I walk in. You know, that warm fuzzy "You wanna go where everyone knows your name." type feeling. Then I get the "Hey, it's good to see you! Mr. uh.... ummm..... tall, with room, americano." Yup, I am know as a drink. Anyway...

So I walk in this morning and get knocked off center by a barage of Christmas decorations and a way over the top chipper crew. You could tell they were having the time of thier lives. So I cautiosly expressed my surprise and yet in a subtle way shared my concern.

"It's not even Thanks Giving yet!?"

Their response: "Yeah, a lot of people keep saying that."

In my opinion, this is a really mean trick to play on all the turkeys that now think we have forgotten about Thanks Giving, only to find out otherwise next week.
