Sad Day in America

No man is perfect. I will be the first to share with you that I am not even on the same road maps perfect. That being said, we do hope and pray for character and integrity in our leadership.

You may not be aware of the fact that the senate seat vacated by Barak Obama is filled by appointment. The governor of Illinois chooses the person to fill the seat until the next election cycle.

Today Governor Rod Blagojevich has been arrested for planning to auction off this seat to the highest bidder. Planning to make as much money and future employment for him and his wife as possible. With what looks like absolutely no concern for the citizens of Ill. His entry in Wikipedia has already been amended to include his arrest and charges. Such an amazing opportunity wasted on selfish-ambition.
