Great Sunday

Yesterday morning was great.  There were a lot of reasons why, but I will give you my favorite first.

Jesus is up to something.  You could just feel it.

I sensed it in my prep for yesterday.  I sensed it when I pulled up to Rosa Parks yesterday morning.  I sensed during the music.  I could see it in our peoples eyes as I was speaking.  I sensed it during our time of reflection.

I am anticipating incredible things through this Lenten season as our church chooses spiritual life above all else.

Here are a couple other reasons:
- It was fun.
- We have some great new people.
- Jireh is back form Singapore and he always does an amazing job with our music.
- We are experimenting with chair arrangement. (seems silly but makes a huge difference.)
- A ton of people were connecting to watch the super bowl. Many who didn't really know each other.
- There was excitement in the air.
- Tanya is the best wife in the world.
- I love Lent and it was fun to tap into passions.
- We are going to rescue children from sexual slavery. (If that doesn't excite you, something is wrong with you!)
- We used some original art by Sarah Godding and Lindsey Lemm, which is both excellent and inspiring.

I could keep going for a while.

If you are not connected to Life at the Ridge, you should be!
