Yesterday's Gathering

Great morning yesterday.

The setup and tear down process is getting easier and more efficient. We still have a couple systems to impalement which should make the process much more smooth than it current is.

We had some new people check out the church, which is always exciting. Of course new people get there a little early and so with the band and other team members chilling before the gathering we had a some time to connect with them. Although there is that moment of awkwardness as the new people are traveling the super long hallway of the school we meet in. They see us, we see them, pretty fun. Still working on when and where to engage new people to give the most comfortable first impression. We have an amazing first impressions team which greeted them at their car with umbrellas. Then the long hallway. Well, we are dialing it in.

We started a new series yesterday called "Spiritual Kinetics: The Mechanics of Following Jesus". We began the series with "Trajectory", setting our eyes on Jesus and mapping out the course. Hebrews 12:1-3 is the main text for the week.
