I hit thirty four this past week. You know, birthdays aren't too bad anymore. I am so thankful for the life I have lived so far. Looking back I see God so clearly. His grace. His hand. His love. I am striving to see more of God in the now and future rather than having to look back in order to clearly see Him.
One of my favorite Kierkegaard quotes "Life can only be understood backward, but it must be lived forward."
I want to see more of what He is doing today. I sense deep in my soul that He wants to involve people just like you and me in what he is doing today.
PS. I like this picture for two reasons:
1. The cake covers my soft 34 yr old midsection.
2. The shirt actually makes it appear as though I have some guns.
