You Gotta Love Seattle

Let's just say that I am not a huge fan of rain. This is a pic out my office window.

Time: 11:08am
Direction: South
Weather: rain, lots of rain

Josh, I saw your blog on Blogging Church.

I don't want to rub it in but, I moved from Puyallup to Dallas about 4 months ago, and I have not seen rain since. Yes, the sun is great but you tend to miss it when your gone. I did a post on this a while back at 828central.com. Search for Fresh Rain

What church do you pastor?

I moved from Puyallup to TX. I lived by Wildwood Elementry, my backyard was the school. I went to Puyallup Foursquare and before that I was at Puyallup First Assembly (Destiny Christian Center, now). I lived there for several years. Where did you live?

What?!

No way...

Wildwood Elementary was my backyard, literally! We lived in the house on the left side of the fence leaving the school on the side of the portables (into the larkspur housing development)... my dogs bark at you as you walk through the gate.

And, I know this is weird - but I grew up going to Puyallup First Assembly and then after a few church changes I ended up at Puyallup Foursquare.

Do I know you?

Email me at Jason@828central.com or go to my site at www.828central.com and post.

My dad was on staff at P 1st, Bill Simmons, were you there when it was Sam Benson, Nate Wolf etc?. My wife is Megan (Ford) Randy and Cathy Ford's daughter.

We just moved in Aug, I was really involved with P4Square, worked with Kevin, Heidi, Chad, Shannon and the crew.

Perhaps I do know you, or you know my wife. My house was just on the other side of the field, My backyard was leading to the track (by the baseball field). Small World!

Hey guys, it has been cool to see you connect through this. I would have never guessed it was possible.

I did a wedding in Colorado Springs a few years ago and it was pretty cool there, but brown and dry. As we flew back in to Seattle both my wife and I were blown away with how green it is. I was thankful for rain for a little while.

I pastor a new church plant in Redmond called Life at the Ridge. We are just getting the basics cranked up this month.

Thanks for the comments!
