The Rock Church - Lynnwood

Our team visited the Rock Church in Lynnwood this Sunday. It was a lot of fun, and gave us a chance to see Scott in his native environment. I felt bad that I gave him no warning but I don't think it phased him much. We really enjoyed the church. If you find yourself with a Sunday, get out there and say hi. We had some great people approach us and find out who we were and if we had been there before. We have been to a number of churches in the past few months and at many of them we didn't get much more than a smile with the bulletin. I was minding my own business getting some coffee and a lady says, "Hey I'm Melissa, how long have you been coming to the Rock." It was cool.


Scott hit a home run with a great talk as well. His down to earth and genuine, yet insightful approach was encouraging, inspiring and thought provoking. (And no I don't say that just because I know he reads this, it is all true) Way to go Scott, we all enjoyed and appreciated what you had to say. We walked away saying, that is a real guy who wants to see the church make a real difference in this world. Very cool. For me it was cool to see that the stuff I get from Scott in our coaching sessions is the real deal. He doesn't just read it and talk about it, he is living it.
