This morning I met with Ryan Farmer of Eastlake Community Church in Kirkland. Great Church! We loved it there and would go back if we were looking for a church home. He handles all the admin stuff for Eastlake. One of the things I loved about Ryan was his desire to invest in a new church plant. His openness with mistakes and good ideas was awesome. For Ryan's sake I would love to say he is the first guy I have met with this attitude, but the truth is, it seems to be a new attitude emerging in the church planting culture. I think Paul may have referred to it as "unity" or being "of one spirit". I am loving it though and look forward to the day when I can help save a future church planter some time, money and heartache.
