This morning I had the opportunity to play drums with some friends at Cedar Park Church. It was a lot of fun playing with the guys again, Peter, Aaron and Jireh especially. It was a Good morning. There is something very satisfying about worship God with the gifts that he gave you.
Another part of the morning I enjoyed was Pastor Joe Fuiten's message from Matthew 15. It was very refreshing to hear a successful pastor share his feelings of guilt in a public setting. It is so rare to hear someone open up like that. You can listen to his message here.
Today, 14 years after I first attended Cedar Park Church, I thank God for bringing Joe into my life. I have never worked with anyone who leads with such huge vision. He is always dreaming of the future and a big future to be sure. You never know why God brings some people into your life, but invest in each relationship.
