Somebody Sunday

"Somebody Sunday" came and was great.  Our teams really kicked into high gear to make it happen.  We have put into practice a quote I got from Mark Batterson; "Work like it depends on you and pray like it depends on God."  So we busted our tails to get ready and we also prayed and fasted.  

Bottom line...Jesus is amazing.

Jireh opens with some music...Del steps up and welcomes...Jireh leads a few tunes...Del prays, welcomes guests and intro kid video...Roll kid video...I follow with "man those kids have fun and learn a lot"...preach my guts out...pray...jireh plays song / we all reflect and pray...I close.  

And through all of that we got...

Jesus started some deep healing in people.  I sensed very strongly that past hurts are being healed in order for his love to be shown to the world.  We had guest children that engaged in prayer and learned about Jesus.  We had a first time guest, who came as a friend who decided to follow Jesus.  I am sure we had many more make significant decisions to realign their lives with Jesus.  

It was such a good morning and we are looking forward to the lasting impact on the culture of LATR.
