Life Group Visit - Robby's Spot

latrlg

Tuesday night I was invited to visit one of our Life Groups here in Redmond.  It was great.  Tanya and Abby came to hang out until Abby's bed time, so that was pretty cool.

The main reason they asked me to come was to share more detail about LATR.  Where we came from, what we believe, where we are going and how can they be a part of moving the mission forward.

I was looking forward to it but I did not realize how much fun I would have.  At times I felt bad for them because I can get passionate about the mission and I weave from story to story.  I was going to talk for about 20 minutes but ended up closer to an hour.  Did not even get to the theology section.

It was cool to see a group of people who already believe in what we are doing but are hungry for more and actively looking for ways that they can be involved.

We are going to launch a three to four week series of groups in '09 which will cover the things I talked about only in more detail.

I even got a request for a group that focuses on our core theology.

Good night.
