I had a great conversation with a new friend today. John has been working at Microsoft for ten+ years and lives down the street from me, actually closer to the school where LATR meets on Sunday.
We covered a ton of stuff today. Running, physical therapy, church, how we met our wives, some brief job history, how to do a home group with couple who have young kids and more. One of my favorite parts of our conversation had to do with men and the questions we ask each other. I LOVED IT. John has some interesting insights and reflections on one of the questions most commonly used when two men meet each other for the first time. He did credit his wife with helping him uncover this nugget.
I hope to write more about that topic soon.
For now I look forward to seeing John again, he's a cool guy.
