Well after much deliberation and the persistent badgering of a number of friends, I have taken the Mac plunge. You have to understand that this is not a simple move for me. I am a pretty hardcore PC guy and I actually am a really big Microsoft fan. Our church is full of MS employees and 70-80% of my neighbors are MS employees. I am in the heartland my friends.
So let the adventure begin.

Did you pay the premium and actually get a black MacBook?
Yes I did. Fortunately for me I have a friend who worked at the Apple Store who bought the machine for me through a current employee and hooked me up with a nice friends and family discount. I have to be honest, the black case was a big deal to me.
haha, well I wish I had the black case... I just couldn't justify the extra $150 =)
