My friend Steve recommended a new book for me. I honestly don't remember the last book he recommended. I know he has but it has been that long. So when he called just to tell me about the book I figured I better get it.
It sat on my desk in the cardboard shipping material for a week while I finished the previous book. I am trying to do the one at a time thing instead of half reading many books at the same time.
Anyway, I am in chapter four now of "Confessions of a Pastor" by Craig Groeschel of Lifechurch.tv. and glad that Steve called. His straight forward, let's lay it out on the table approach is very refreshing. The chapter titles alone will catch your eye. Every pastor I have mentioned it too agrees with most if not all of the chapter titles.
