I pulled out one of my favorite devotional / prayer guide books this morning. The Valley of Vision is a collection of puritan prayers and devotions, edited by Arthur Bennett.

The theology is very rich. The prayers are both deep and direct. Even if you choose not to pray the prayers, you will learn some very valuable lessons about prayer. you will find yourself praying with more depth and sincerity.
Each prayer is relatively short and the book is broken down topically which makes it easy to find a prayer to match a specific burden or situation.

A friend at work gave me a copy of this book about 2 years ago, it truly will broaden and deepen your prayer life.
I highly recommend it to my friends and find myself turing its pages often during my time with God.
