I drove around the neighborhood yesterday and tried to grab a couple pics with my phone. There were a lot of guys out cutting up the trees to clear the roads so not a lot of shocking pics but here are a few from around our house.
This was a thin row of trees between Novelty Hill Road and a new apartment complex going in. "Was" being the critical term in that sentence.
This is the sidewalk on our street. Yes, on the right is a side walk. It is covered with about 6-12" of branches.
Nope, that is not wood. That handrail is metal.
This is the bottom of the tree that blocked our road on Friday morning, it was cut into three big pieces to clear the road.
More power lines down. We are in day five now and many people around us still do not have power. For some reason our neighborhood came back up Saturday about 11:00a.m. but it is still out on all sides around us.
We are very fortunate.
