I have a great seat at my favorite coffee house. Good table, with an outlet close by and facing the door so I can get a good look at everyone that walks in.
It is raining.
Two days ago I was skiing with my friends Allan and Scott. The water is still quite warm. I expected a little edge when I slipped in but nothing! I ran the full course at 15' off. Nothing to get too excited about, but since it was the first time in the course since May, I felt pretty good about it.

There is something about the change in seasons that usually gets me down, but this year it's just not bothering me. I hate to watch summer fade away just like the day I moved out of the 2500sq lodge style house I shared with a guy who worked out of town three months at a time. Not fun.
I guess, this year, there is just so much I am thankful for and excited about.
Abby has changed my life. The schedule stuff is nothing. It is the internal transformation that I notice every time I look at her. Something in me has come to life that until she came was lying dormant. I have been thinking a lot about my relationship with God as my father. When I get some more of that stuff worked out I will let you know what I think.

The church is getting ready to move into the school on October first. This is a huge milestone for the church and leads us to our final public launch and celebration.
So I sit here waiting for long time and good friend(we met in the sixth grade), Anthon, to show up.
I love my life, my family and what God has called me to do.
So I say, bring on the rain! In the words of the great 80's group Expose, "Seasons Change".
