Very Moving Experience

Tanya and I had a woman contact us about her desire to help us with the church. She is not leaving her current church but felt very strongly that she was to help us financially. Recently married, her and her new husband had no need to two homes. They sold one and had been try to decide what to do with a portion of their money from the sale. As she was telling us this story and letting us know that she wanted it to help Life at the Ridge, she began to weep. At first I was not sure what to say or do, so I did very little. I watched and listened as she explained how deeply Jesus has spoken to her. It was very moving and I can't even tell you what it means when people decide to put the mission first. More than who gets the money, for me the satisfaction is in knowing that she "get's it". Above all else she wants to be obedient to Jesus voice and do her part in His mission to save the world.
