Simply Amazing!

Tanya and I just got home form our first appointment with Dr. Isbell, our new baby doctor. That's right, we found out recently that we are having a baby. Due date is August 12th, 2006.

I always thought that I would be scared and really uncertain of the future, but I have been nothing but excited since the moment we found out. You know when you are married for eight and half years with no kids you get pretty used to doing whatever and whenever you want.


Because of some unusual pain back at 6 1/2 weeks, we actually got an early ultra sound. We were able to see the heart beating. Although the still image looks nothing like me or Tanya, we are convinced that with time we will see more similarity. It truly is amazing and life changing.

I am not even really sure what to say.

Today was pretty sweet, we listened to the little heart cranking away.

Amazing, simply amazing!
