Jeremiah - Culture, Faith and Kentucky

Last night I met up with Jeremiah for some coffee and conversation. As you know, two of my favorite things. It was good to catch up with him after the holiday. He and his wife have been back in Kentucky visiting family. They are both some really fun people. you should come meet them some time.

Jeremiah has a great perspective on what it means to follow Jesus. He really has engaged in the adventure. It has been a lot of fun to talk about culture and the church with him as we move forward in planning and preparing for our January 22nd gathering - "Flip the Switch".

Side note, he works at Microsoft and you know that I get giddy like a kid at Christmas whenever I can hang out over there. Yes I am a total dork. I have decided that I don't have the neccessary skills to be a geek, so I slide in on the low side with dork. Don't tell anyone but I still have my sticker guest badge from the last time I went over there.

Anyway, something just cranks up in me when I get a chance to talk with people like Jeremiah.
