Blue Sky in January!

Yesterday was beautiful and today is off to an awesome start. I love the sun! I love summer. But I can handle a cool winter day if the sky is clear. There really is no place Seattle on a beautiful day.

I was starting to wonder about my long term mental health as we were racing quickly to a record of most consecutive days of rain. Something in me was slightly pacified by seeing stories of our troubles on national news. I don't know why, it just feels cool to be able to say, "I live there!" Like a buddy of someone famous dropping a line like, "I know him, do you want to meet him?"

Which reminds me, I was having coffee with a guy on Friday and during our conversation his phone rang. It was Shaun Alexander. The NFL MVP. Yup they are buddies.

I just did it, didn't I? Except worse. I am happy about knowing a guy who knows a guy.

Anyway, what a beautiful day!
