Monday I had three really fun meetings. One with Mark and Matt, one with my friend Jay Smith and another with Kris Godding
Meeting with Matt and Mark was energizing as we brainstormed for our gathering tonight. It is exciting to be with people who are excited. I know it sounds pretty dumb but it has a lasting effect on you as you continue through the day. Putting heads together to dream about effective communication and church is just tons of fun. Mark and I also had a little bit of time after the meeting to just have coffee and be friends. It was a very good start to the day.
For lunch I hung out with my buddy Jay. Jay and I go way back at Cedar Park and he is just a straight up awesome guy who is passionate about Jesus and leading people toward Him.
In the afternoon I hung out with Kris. Kris is a great guy who I met through Eric Huck while he was attending PSCC. Kris has a heart for church planting and has a background in helping with plants and equipping new churches. He also likes technology, which is cool. In this picture Kris is handing me a 1gig memory card from his phone. Yup, you heard right, 1GIG!Monday was a great day. Of course there is more to it than that but the other stuff is boring.
