Great Read on Church Planting

I came across a good post this morning and thought it would good for you all to see. It is really funny to hear why people believe church planters do what they do. I have not yet heard the money thing that you will read about in this, but I have heard many more. One of my favorites is that people believe we plant churches so that we can do everything "My Way!" like the fat guy at BK, we don't want pickles so we go someplace that we can get them taken off for us. Could not be further from the truth. As our team discusses the church each week, we get further away from "Our Way" and into His way. We keep asking the tough question of, "What is God calling us to do and be in order to reach the people he is calling us to reach."
